On Thursday,a statement was released to CNBC saying Nike denied signing Michael Vick to a agreement.On Wednesday, the managing director of the agency that represents Vick had announced that a deal was in place. Here's how Nike responded:
"Nike does not have a contractual relationship with Michael Vick," Nike spokesman Kejuan Wilkins said in the statement to CNBC. "We have agreed to supply product to Michael Vick as we do a number of athletes who are not under contract with Nike."
Did Vick's people think that all the free shoes serves as an implied contract?
